Imagica was born making short films and has participated in more than 150 festivals around the world, having received more than 40 awards in cities such as Cannes (France), Atlanta, San Diego, Dellaware (United States), Istanbul (Turkey), Tokyo (Japan) and Vancouver (Canada). 🌎🏆👏🏻
So much experience ended up giving rise to GRU SHORTS BR , an international festival that shook the city of Guarulhos in December 2024 , bringing 840 minutes of short films from various parts of the world to the Bonsucesso neighborhood and enabling dozens of young filmmakers to exhibit their work in a large movie theater and an unforgettable awards and recognition event.
Now Guarulhos, the city with the largest airport in the country , has yet another connection to take advantage of its cosmopolitan vocation and shine in the vibrant Brazilian film scene.
